Matt Buckley

       

      Matt Buckley began his career nearly 30 years ago when he worked for his stepfathers small business, Robert Harrop Designs, in Shropshire England. Matt and his brother Dan, both eventually became the Creative Director for RHD. Around this time, he was also able to first demonstrate this new, unique style to a live audience. 

   In 2010, Matt began producing licensed clay sculptures. With his team of seasoned professionals, Matt developed Edge Sculptures. In 2012, at a trade show in England, Matt and Dan's vender booth was set up next to Enesco, a global company in giftware, home, and garden decor. The interest in their artwork grew increasing attention which lead to a creative partnership with Enesco, that has been quite beneficial for both.

 Today Matt continues as the Creative Designer for Edge Sculptures, working with Enesco out of his studio in Shropshire, England. He continues to create legendary and striking sculptures, both bold and primeval. Matts pieces have the ability to awe an audience while preserving the ability to evoke emotion and remain affordable.
